From short connections between devices to tethered shooting that requires greater freedom of movement, the TETHER ONE USB-C PD cable series offers multiple lengths with data transfer, power delivery, and glow-in-the-dark visibility. Designed for camera-to-computer data transfer, video shooting, and compatible USB-C devices.

Choose the connection that suits your shooting setup. TETHER ONE offers cable lengths from 0.2m to 10m, plus the SL5.5m screw-lock version for compatible cameras. For additional cable security and port protection, the Tough Guard cable support plate is available separately. See the specification table below for each version's maximum transfer speed and power delivery.

Cable Features

• Data transfer and power delivery: Supports maximum transfer speeds of 10Gbps, 20Gbps, or 40Gbps, depending on the version. Versions from 0.2m to 5.5m support up to 240W, while the 10m version supports up to 30W.
• Flexible liquid silicone cable: Standard versions feature a liquid silicone jacket for easy bending and cable routing, tested for durability through 100,000 bending cycles.
• One 90° right-angle connector: Standard versions have USB Type-C connectors at both ends, with one 90° connector to reduce interference in tight spaces.
• Glow-in-the-dark design: Standard cables and the SL5.5m version use photoluminescent material that glows in the dark after absorbing light, making the cable easier to locate.

Version Specifications

SL5.5m | Screw-Lock Security at One End

The SL5.5m features a screw-lock USB-C connector at one end for cameras with a compatible screw-lock mechanism, such as the SONY α7R V. Securing the connector with the screw helps maintain a more stable connection during shooting.

This version is not simply another length option for the standard 5.5m cable. Before purchasing, confirm compatibility with both your camera's USB-C port and its screw-lock mechanism. Do not judge compatibility solely by the USB-C connector's shape.

10m | Extend Your Shooting Range

The 10m version provides a longer connection for setups where the camera and computer are farther apart. It supports up to 10Gbps data transfer and 30W power delivery, while retaining the flexible liquid silicone jacket, one right-angle USB-C connector, and glow-in-the-dark design.

For long-distance shooting, consider both your equipment's data transfer and power requirements. The 10m version does not support 240W power delivery.

Tough Guard | Reduce Cable Strain and Protect Camera Ports

When a camera remains connected to a USB or power cable for extended periods, cable tension can place additional strain on the port and connector. The Tough Guard cable support plate helps secure the cable, reducing connector strain and the risk of accidental disconnection during shooting, which can interrupt data transfer.

• Features an Arca-Swiss-compatible design for use as a quick-release plate.

Tough Guard is a securing accessory and does not provide data transfer or power delivery. Whether a cable and plate are included together depends on the selected product option. The plate is not a standard accessory included with every cable.

Before Purchasing and Using

• Select the required cable length or accessory, then check that version's transfer speed, power delivery, and connector type.
• Transfer speeds and power delivery ratings are maximum supported values. Actual performance depends on the devices, ports, charger, and operating conditions.
• Tethered shooting and USB power functions must be supported by the camera and connected equipment.
• The glow-in-the-dark material must absorb light first. Brightness and glow duration vary depending on the environment.
• Before using the screw-lock version or support plate, confirm equipment compatibility and available installation space.
