RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY


WARRANTY POLICY

If most products in the STC online store, you have seven (7) days from the date of delivery to contact STC Optics with any problems with your product.

To be eligible, you must have proof-of-purchase and your item(s) must be in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. Contact customer service at SUBMIT A CLAIM to begin the warranty process.

Note:

  1. For DEFECTIVE or DAMAGED Item(s), there is no charge for replacement.
  2. If you purchased from one of our distributors, please contact the distributor directly.
  3. If you identify problems with the product beyond the first seven days of the product, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs to our inspection and repair facility.

REFUNDS

Once we receive your item(s), we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item(s). Depending on eligibility, we will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item(s).

If approved, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method.

Please note: we can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to be processed after approval. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at shop@sense-tech.com.tw.

NOTIFICATION


We will always notify you via email when your package arrives at our Return Center for verification and refund processing. Please allow up to 7–14 working days for your return to be received and processed.

EXCHANGES FOR OTHER STC PRODUCTS

We do not allow product returns to be exchanged for other products in our Online Store at this time. Instead, items can be returned and a refund will be issued.

EUROPEAN UNION — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD)

If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason and without justification, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and EU Directive 2023/2673.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at shop@sense-tech.com.tw with your name and order reference. We will send you a confirmation email upon receipt of your withdrawal request.

Your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it — unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We do not provide prepaid return labels for EU withdrawal requests. The refund will cover the original purchase price of the item only; return shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the same payment method as your original purchase.
