STC has donated 42 'Amika Medical Fully Computerized Automatic Feeding Machines' from Germany (primarily for use in the hospital’s specialized 'infectious disease' wards) to the Department of Pathology at Neihu Tri-Service General Hospital. Each automatic feeding machine can reduce the nursing time required per meal by up to 30 minutes in the 'specialized wards,' effectively lessening the working hours for nurses and better equipping them to handle the increasing frequency of emergency care needs. This year, STC Nanotech has allocated its entire budget to public welfare, with hopes that the impact of infectious diseases on human society will diminish over time.
Special thanks to the generous leaders from the low-profile group of philanthropic enterprises known as the Morning Glory Taiwan Private Equity Network, as well as the alumni of the third cohort of the YongLin Foundation H.S.

STC successfully presented its miniature precision spectrometer at the H. Spectrum Demo Day. Although we did not make it to the top three for the opportunity to pitch in the U.S., the warmest applause from the audience was a great reward for the team’s hard work over the year. Advancing past other teams was possible thanks to the dedicated members of the STC spectrometer team.

This filter allows wavelengths of 500.4 nm and 656 nm to pass through narrowband channels of 10 nm, achieving a 90% transmission rate, elevating the standard of coated light pollution filters to a new level.
This achievement made STC the first Taiwanese filter brand featured in a Japanese astronomy magazine.https://reflexions.jp/tenref/orig/2018/09/28/6458/#google_vignette

A groundbreaking event! For the first time in Taiwan, STC hosted three renowned Japanese photographers—Izumi Hirota, Saiou, and Illko—to share their photography experiences and techniques with Taiwanese photography enthusiasts at a photography equipment exhibition.
This filter effectively reduces artificial light sources such as neon, sodium, and helium lamps in urban areas, enabling exposure that targets the spectral characteristics of deep-space atomic emissions. It was featured in Japan’s premier astronomy magazine, Astronomy GUIDE.
STC developed an underwater filter using a red grating to effectively filter out blue water tones. This filter has a higher transmission rate than existing red and magenta filters on the market, retaining more than 50% of underwater colors and enabling natural light compensation that can be adjusted according to depth.
We are proud that this product won the 2017 Red Dot Award.
