The result is an elegant, smooth-installation adapter ring that allows for faster hood attachment (installation stroke shortened by approx. 8% compared to the original adapter), and supports secure fitment with the original lens cap.

Please remove the original front lens cap before installing the STC FAR-X100 Filter/Hood Adapter Ring.
After installing the adapter ring, make sure to mount a filter before placing the original lens cap.
Using the lens cap without a filter installed may result in improper fitment or looseness.
If the product is not installed according to the instructions, or if the lens cap is attached without first installing a filter, resulting in the lens cap loosening or falling off and causing damage or loss, STC will not accept warranty claims or provide compensation for such incidents.
Fujifilm’s X100V/VI series features a beautifully designed, concealed filter/hood adapter ring system.
Simply rotate the outer front ring counterclockwise to remove it, and you can install either the original Fujifilm adapter or the STC-engineered FAR-X100 Adapter Ring.
