2023, STC has revealed a range of brand-new optical glass drone filters for the DJI Mavic 3 series.
The Mavic 3 boasts high-end features and capabilities across its range, along with an attractive price point that appeals to a broad spectrum of users. STC has worked closely with professional aerial photographers who tested the filters over more than 1,960 kilometres/14,000 minutes of flight time; feeding back to the development team throughout the R&D process. This, in conjunction with 30 aerial photography enthusiasts who were asked to complete questionnaires for the testing and development process.
After several months of intensive research and development, STC has completed this groundbreaking series of specialist products, which is based on the high-quality production policy of Taiwan's leading optical filter brand.
STC has manufactured this series of filters using the same professional optical glass and multi-layer nano-coatings that have been adopted within its leading optical filters for the past 12 years. This has been utilized instead of plastic in the new Mavic 3 filter series from STC to offer the very best in quality and demonstrates its commitment to the global aerial photography community. The series’ original buckle design and light weight also meet the highest standards for aerial photography enthusiasts.
STC Mavic 3 Series Filters Key Features
Due to the professional specifications of the new Mavic 3 drone filters from STC, the glass cannot be replaced or repaired. There is no long-term maintenance return warranty. Therefore, this series of products offers a 7-day returns period, which begins upon the arrival of the product. If there are any problems or defects found with the products within this 7-day period, they can be returned or exchanged.
Materials
1. Using high-quality Japanese AGC professional optical glass, light transmittance is as high as 95% with glass weight at an incredible 2.8g.
2. Multiple layer high-transmittance nano-coating, supports professional optical resolution up to 5.1K.
3. Professional anti-smudge and anti-reflection coatings achieve multiple functions such as waterproofing, oil-proofing, anti-fouling, anti-scratch, anti-fog, anti-reflection, anti-static and simple cleaning.

Design
1. The new filters have been designed and manufactured according to the original and can be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly without damage.

After removing the Mavic 3’s original protective cap, follow the steps below for simple installation.
1. Hold the camera head with one hand to keep it fixed, grab the filter with your thumb and point finger with another hand.
2. Align the four joints of the filter with the slots on the lens and snap it onto the lens gently, the filter will tilt to the left.
3. Clockwise-rotate the filter meanwhile pressing the filter to fit the lens and done.
The DJI Mavic-3 camera joint design consists of two pinballs to secure the filter fixing. You will find less resistance from the joint if put some minor pressure on the filter when install it. Counterclockwise rotate the filter can then remove the filter, but if any of the four joint is not removed, turn back the filter and rotate again will reduce damages on lens slot.
