Usage tip: Mirrorless camera bodies are compact and narrow. When paired with heavy or large telephoto lenses for handheld shooting, we recommend adjusting your grip posture periodically to avoid sustained pressure on a single point, which can effectively reduce palm discomfort.
The ergonomically designed grip features a top-angled profile that allows your fingers to rest against the camera body at a natural, comfortable angle. The genuine leather wrapping fills the gap left by the OM-3's narrow, flat grip — where fingers can only hook the camera at the tips while the middle sections hang unsupported. Beyond improved comfort, the patented fold-and-extend mechanism makes full use of every structural element: opening the grip creates a new load-bearing surface that redistributes the weight of the camera and lens from your fingertips and palm, noticeably extending handheld endurance — maximum efficiency in the smallest, lightest possible form.
1. Flip open the support extension panel to swap the battery; close the side panel to further prevent the battery door from coming loose or falling open.

The wrist strap uses 2mm military-spec paracord with a structural strength exceeding 70kg. The camera strap uses 4mm military-spec paracord with a structural strength exceeding 200kg.
The quick-release buckle system has been tested to a single-cord strength of 15kg with no exaggeration (in testing, when force exceeds 15kg, failure occurs at the junction between the cord and the plastic component — not within the cord itself). That said, when used with heavy equipment, overall dynamic load safety must be considered. Use beyond rated capacity is at the user's own risk. All products have been tested for quick-release buckle safety prior to shipment.
