This soft, 3-position adjustable screw-type hood is designed for use with STC iMagFilter magnetic filters. Durable, wear-resistant, lightweight, and easy to carry. It effectively reduces reflections and features three adjustable positions to accommodate iPhone camera focal lengths of 0.5x, 1x, and 2x or longer. An essential photography tool for common travel scenarios with severe reflections, such as shooting on airplanes, through glass display windows, or from inside curtain-wall buildings.

▎Precautions For flat filters, we recommend attaching the hood directly to the filter. For 3D effect filters (such as toy camera or black hole effects), the hood can be mounted on its inner ring. When used with a filter, the filter frame's thickness may cause vignetting around the edges when shooting with the iPhone's 0.5x ultra-wide-angle lens.

The full-time lens protection frame can be installed on any phone case that doesn't cover the camera lenses. Please refer to the instruction manual for installation guidance.

Using the Magnetic Filter Mount:

Step 1: Pinch Use your right thumb and index finger to pinch the magnetic filter mount at the STC logo area.

Step 2: Place Align it with the phone's camera lens openings and gently place it down. You'll hear a "click" sound when it's properly installed.

Step 3: Twist Screw on your CPL, ND, or CineMist filter and start your mobile photography creation!

Removing the Magnetic Filter Mount: Simply press the laser-engraved STC logo pattern with one finger to detach the filter mount from your phone. For a more stable removal method recommended by experts: rest your thumb on the logo area while your index finger lightly grips the diagonal edge of the filter mount, then gently press down with your thumb to separate while pinching to remove the mount.

Portable Storage: After removing the iMagFilter magnetic filter mount, place it together with the filter into the included soft-touch protective pouch to prevent the professional optical coating on the glass filter surface from being scratched by foreign objects. The upcoming special effects filter set will include a hard storage case for more effective protection and storage of multiple filters.
