    What is the adhesive tape variant for?
    The clip filter comes with a special no-residue adhesive backing. For added peace of mind, replacement double-sided tape is available separately. Use non-STC adhesive tape at your own risk.

    Will mounting this filter affect my camera's autofocus?
    After mounting the clip filter, your camera's autofocus will automatically adjust to the change in optical axis. No manual calibration is required for most supported camera models.

    About This Product

    All our filters use STC’s exclusive nanocoating technology for the best optical quality. Our Sensor Protector, Cine Mist, Neutral Density (ND), Astro (light pollution) series, IR-Pass (590nm/720nm/850nm) and UV-IR cut filters all carry a double-sided hydrophobic, anti-smudge and antistatic nanocoating to enhance or block transmission in all kinds of particular spectrums.

    Features

    The frames are made from black anodized non-magnetic 304(A2) stainless steel treated with Teflon. Our patented design makes the filters easy to fix in place without affecting focusing.

    Patented clip design fixes the filter firmly in place while you attach your lens.

    When you remove the clip filter, lay down your camera facing upwards so the filter does not touch the image sensor.

    STC's clip filters are specifically designed to reduce color cast for wide-angle lenses. We support Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Pentax, Olympus, Panasonic, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Z Cam E-2 models.

    • As each manufacturer's lens design is different, blurring around the edges may occur with some fisheye or super wide-angle lenses. This is normal.
