Features
1.1mm Schott B270 optical glass shortens the optical path, reducing diffraction and glare. Increased thermal conductivity also makes mist go away more quickly. Patented 35μm strengthening technology toughens the glass to 350MPa, equivalent to a golf ball from 120cm three times. Surface flatness of ±20μm for clear images in high resolution. A carbon black rim also reduces and absorbs refracted infrared light and ghost images from reflections.
Patented Ultra Layer nanocoating technology conforms to EU RoHS 2.0 standards, using silicon dioxide and titanium oxide to create a double-sided multilayer nanocoating that is anti-reflective, hydrophobic, anti-smudge, wear-resistant and antistatic to make it easy to keep clean.
This double-sided anti-reflective coating uses silicon oxide and titanium oxide, raising transmission to a uniform 99.38%, with reflectivity below 0.3%.
For the rim, we use precision machining for a tough but lightweight aluminum alloy frame. The super slim 5mm design reduces vignetting when using a wide-angle lens. Matte black finish and embossed frame is easy to rotate, won’t jam and is easy to remove. The shock-absorbent frame also reduces the chance of damage to your lens if it takes a knock.
