Lugging around equipment is not fun. Clip filters give creators a compact and lightweight means to address dynamic lighting conditions. STC has created a wide range of internal clip filters specially designed for Fujifilm GFX camera bodies.
Our second-generation internal Interchangeable Clip (IC) filter is a natural evolution to the "one filter to fit them all" design concept.
Our patented inlay design has been upgraded so that you can quickly swap out the right filter as your shooting conditions change.

Installation Instructions
Due to varying QC standards across camera brands, even models of the same brand may have manufacturing tolerances. If the internal filter frame doesn't fit properly, please contact STC support or headquarters. Do not force installation.
Disclaimer
STC's Clip-in filters are innovative and rely on the camera's internal structure for stability. Minor marks from installation may occur but do not affect camera functionality or warranty. STC will not cover these marks or offer compensation. Please consider this before purchasing if reselling your camera is a concern.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Fujifilm GFX cameras is this infrared clip filter compatible with?
This Infrared IC Clip Filter is designed for Fujifilm GFX Series cameras. Please check the Supported Camera & Lens List for the full compatibility list before purchasing.
Do I need to modify my camera to use this filter?
The IR Pass 590nm, 720nm, and 850nm variants are designed for use with modified (IR-converted) cameras. The UV-IR Cut variant can be used with unmodified cameras to block ultraviolet and infrared light for more accurate color reproduction.
What is the difference between IR Pass 590nm, 720nm, and 850nm?
The cutoff wavelength determines how much visible light is blocked. 590nm allows some warm tones through for a golden-red effect; 720nm is the most popular choice for classic black-and-white infrared photography; 850nm blocks nearly all visible light for maximum infrared effect with longer exposures.
Can I swap filters without removing my lens?
Yes. The IC (Interchangeable Clip) design allows you to quickly swap out the right filter as your shooting conditions change, without removing the lens from the camera.
Will mounting this filter affect my camera's autofocus?
After mounting the clip filter, your camera's autofocus will automatically adjust to the change in optical axis. No manual calibration is required for most supported camera models.
Will this filter cause edge blurring with wide-angle lenses?
Some blurring around the edges may occur with fisheye or super wide-angle lenses due to individual lens design differences — this is normal and not a defect.
Is this filter covered by a warranty?
Yes. STC offers the world's first warranty and repair service for clip-in filters. Please contact STC support for details.

All the photographs were opened and examined at 100% in Adobe CC on a colour profiled monitor, no alterations were made, the images are just as they came from the camera. The images were observed to be sharp from edge to edge and free from distortion and fringing.
The photographs taken with display more detail in the shadow areas compared with the full colour images, it is worth noting that there is a colour balance difference between the images taken with the UV/IR Cut filter and the unconverted camera, this could be down to the amount of UV/IR being blocked by the clip filter compared with a lens without a UV filter and also the variance between the sensor arrangement of the two cameras used, in saying that either of the colour images is perfectly acceptable when viewed on its own.
The all important question is. Do the STC clip filters offer value for money? For a Fuji X series APS-C prices range from £96.99 for a single STC clip filter infra red filter (including case) to £111.99 for the UV IR Cut filter.
Whilst this might appear expensive at first glance, consider the cost of purchasing a filter for each lens you wished to use and in the case of ultra wide angle lenses that have a protruding front element fitting a filter is not possible.
Taking all this into account, the STC clip filter range offer excellent quality and great value for money. I own a number of STC clip and screw-in filters and would not be without them.
STC are unique in the range of clip filters that they offer, fitting cameras from Nikon Z series to Pentax APS-C and most cameras in between.

Our frames are custom designed for each model of camera and are all made from an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy that is non-magnetic and shock-absorbent. We use CNC machining to make sure the frame fits snugly. An ingenious spring clip fixes the filter in place and you can unclip it with a light touch of your finger. Each filter set comes with a magnetized screwdriver to help you swap out one filter for another.

All our filters use STC’s exclusive nanocoating technology for the best optical quality. Our Sensor Protector, Neutral Density (ND), Astro (light pollution) series, IR-Pass (590nm/720nm/850nm), and UV-IR-Cut filters all carry a double-sided hydrophobic, anti-smudge and antistatic nanocoating to enhance or block transmission in all kinds of particular spectrums.
