      About This Product

      Frames can mount all kinds of filters, such as our Astro (light pollution) series; IR-Pass (590nm/720nm/850nm); UV-IR-Cut; and 4-Stop (ND16), 6-Stop (ND64), 9-Stop (ND400), and 10-Stop (ND1000) neutral density filters.

      Features

      The frames are made from black anodized non-magnetic 304(A2) stainless steel treated with Teflon. Our patented design makes the filters easy to fix in place without affecting focusing.

      Patented clip design fixes the filter firmly in place while you attach your lens.

      When you remove the clip filter, lay down your camera facing upwards so the filter does not touch the image sensor.
       

      STC's clip filters are specifically designed to reduce color cast for wide-angle lenses. We support Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Pentax, Olympus, Panasonic, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Z Cam E-2 models.

         

         Notes
        • As each camera has margin tolerance, for DSLR Nikon APS-C system you may need to adjust the filter according to your specific camera model. See instructional video. 

        • Astrophotography clip filters are only suitable for lenses 14mm and greater.

        • As each manufacturer’s lens design is different, blurring around the edges may occur with some fisheye or super wide-angle lenses. This is normal.
        • After you mount the clip filter, autofocus for you camera will automatically adjust to the change in optical axis.
