The world’s largest semiconductor equipment exhibition, NAPCON Semiconductor Components and Equipment Show, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight in Odaiba. Leading manufacturers of the most advanced semiconductor components and equipment from around the globe are participating. This year, there is also a Taiwan Pavilion with around 20 Taiwanese companies, which is incredibly exciting!
Our STC Nanotech Materials Division is presenting three key solutions at this event:
1. Thermal Radiation Energy-Saving Heating System
This innovative technology leverages nanometer metal coating techniques developed using optical film processes. The system converts electrical energy into thermal radiation and heats objects through a directional heat source. It enables rapid heating even in a vacuum environment, achieving exceptional energy efficiency (over 50% energy savings) and very short heating times (reaching 0-300°C in just 90 seconds). This technology is primarily designed for use in semiconductor equipment and consumer heating devices.
2. Blackbody Radiation Cooling Coating
A next-generation nanocoating designed specifically for aerial and space environments. At just 6-18μm thick, it can withstand short periods of high-energy radiation, effectively preventing substrates or housings from melting or being damaged by high temperatures.
3. Laser-Resistant Filter with 75% Reflection Reduction
This filter maintains stable, color-neutral light performance within the 400-700nm range and avoids heat accumulation caused by absorptive materials. It achieves a -75% laser light reduction with an ND4 or lower attenuation value. Additionally, a -50% laser light reduction version with an ND2 or lower attenuation value is being developed to meet various application needs.
